Understanding and tackling oral health needs for people with MND

Understanding and tackling oral health needs for people with Motor Neurone Disease (MND)

Poor oral health can cause functional, aesthetic, nutritional, and psychological issues. While self-care and dental services help maintain oral health, there is little research on supporting individuals with Motor Neurone Disease (MND) in this area.

We are looking for individuals with MND to share how the condition has affected their oral health. This will help us understand what hinders or supports good oral hygiene and access to dental care. You can participate in a 60-minute interview, either online or at a convenient location, and invite a family member or carer if you wish. You can also choose whether the session is audio or video recorded.
