Wow, what a fabulous day Thursday was.
Volunteers from the Manchester Branch ran the Extra Mile with Sir Kevin Sinfield in Greenfield/Oldham and then down to Burnley Brow School in Chadderton, who raised an amazing £900 to add to Kev’s total, which at this moment stands at £1,196,704.99.
Our very own Sylvia ‘banged the drum’ to set off Kev and the team on their next leg towards Salford…

Last Thursday, volunteers Stephanie and Nigel popped up to Rossendale…
Melba Swintex were opening a new site that is called ‘Margaret Works’.
As you probably know by now, Sir Kevin Sinfield and his team set off this morning (Sunday 27th September) from Hull, on their 7 in 7 Grand Finale – 2026 Challenge.
A huge big thank you from everyone at MND Association Manchester & District Branch to Natalie for taking on this mammoth challenge.
Joe and his wife Joan are fundraising in memory of a friend who died from MND.
If you get the chance, pop in and have a look at this fabulous exhibition of art by Joe and the late Leslie Oliver.
Come and join us to cheer on the runners and those of you running, look out for us and give us a wave 👋
