Get Togethers
Branch meetings are open informal events – we prefer to call them ‘Get Togethers’ – that anyone is welcome to attend, where you can get a chance to hear what’s going on locally in our branch area. You can come down to share a story, or tell us about an event you have planned or fundraising you are doing, we often have really a good guest speaker at most of them. Just turn up and our friendly team will have a brew and biscuits ready for anyone who comes, you don’t need to ask our permission to attend, we welcome everyone who wants to join us.
Get Togethers are always the second Wednesday of a month, bar January and August, and in December when we have our annual Christmas Buffet social event instead.
Our Get Togethers are held at Sale Rugby FC, Smithy’s Bar, Heywood Road, Sale, M33 3WB. See the location and get directions on Google Maps.
Support Groups
Our support groups are run by our incredible volunteers and offer support, guidance and a chance to ask anything about life with MND. Our support groups are held across Greater Manchester.
All our events are open to anyone interested in the work of the Association.
Support meetings are each month, but please note, there are no Support Groups in August and if the date falls on a Bank Holiday.
