Fundraising for/with the branch

We always encourage fundraisers, and if you are thinking of doing any events, please let us know, we will be more than happy to use social media to promote your event.

Fundraising – Options for where funds go

This is information for the brilliant fundraisers in our area, that would like to see their efforts help our branch support people locally in Greater Manchester, so please read the information and guidance.

We are aware many people set up their own donation links, so they can post their own story, and keep track of the fantastic total as it tots up over time. If you set up a just giving page, or virgin giving etc, and want to see funds support our work for the MND Association locally, you can ask the National Office to have funds paid back to our branch.

If you do, please email your fundraising contact at the MND Association or email sylvia.hinde@mndassociation.org.

It’s also important to state on your page that the funds you are raising are for ‘The Manchester & District Branch of the MND Association’.

Alternatively, you can have people donate to our branch donation link, but please ask them to leave a comment about who it is for when they do.
