An auction of a signed limited edition print of Kevin Sinfield raised £1200 for the Motor Neurone Disease Association.
The event took place at The White Hart Inn at Lydgate on Friday 29th October marking the belated 90th Anniversary of the Saddleworth Rangers.
The artwork created by local Saddleworth artist Linda Edwards is one of four limited edition prints signed by Kevin Sinfield.
Each print has been assigned to an event with an auction to raise funds for the MNDA.
Brian Spreadborough who placed the winning bid at the auction said:
A dear friend of mine passed away recently with this disease. I’m so pleased the money will go towards helping to find a cure.’ The print will take pride of place in his Sports Bar in Newhey
Kevin Sinfield continues his challenge to raise money and awareness of MND on the 22nd November running 101 miles in 24 hours! We all wish him luck.
