On 5th December 2025 the annual AMET Christmas lunch took place at the Manchester Deansgate Hotel with over 450 guests in attendance.
Thousands of pounds were raised for local chairities and we were very fortunate to be one of those beneficiaries.
A massive thank you to Kevin Heap and Doreen Gee from AMET for their amazing donation of £2,500 to MND Manchester & District Branch and thank you to everyone who attended and gave generously…

Last Thursday, volunteers Stephanie and Nigel popped up to Rossendale…
Melba Swintex were opening a new site that is called ‘Margaret Works’.
As you probably know by now, Sir Kevin Sinfield and his team set off this morning (Sunday 27th September) from Hull, on their 7 in 7 Grand Finale – 2026 Challenge.
A huge big thank you from everyone at MND Association Manchester & District Branch to Natalie for taking on this mammoth challenge.
Joe and his wife Joan are fundraising in memory of a friend who died from MND.
If you get the chance, pop in and have a look at this fabulous exhibition of art by Joe and the late Leslie Oliver.
Come and join us to cheer on the runners and those of you running, look out for us and give us a wave 👋
